About Hayley
Hayley started her journey in 2025 after a pivotal moment pulled her from her “rock bottom” and towards higher alignment. With this change, she joined others in the wellness and self-improvement community and cultivated a small and loyal following who wanted to hear her story. Hayley lost 50 pounds between 2025 and 2026 and began writing her memoir series Spiritus Indominus on Substack in 2026.
As told in Spiritus Indominus, despite hitting rock bottom and gaining weight up to nearly 300lbs (276.9), Hayley is a lifelong athlete and fierce competitor. She placed nationally in sparring for Taekwondo at 12 years old, earned a first-degree black belt at 14 years old, and went on to complete a half marathon with her mother in February 2025- at her heaviest weight ever!
In 2019, Hayley was officially diagnosed with PCOS (now called PMOS) and began searching for answers on how to manage symptoms and balance her hormones. Through her health and fitness journey, Hayley reconnected with her deep love of joyful movement, spending time in the sunshine, and nutrition. Early in 2026 she began her pursuit of her ISSA Personal Training Certification and her NCI Level 1 Nutrition Coaching Certification. She eagerly devoured courses on women’s health, hormone balance, PCOS/PMOS, and nutrition.
An eclectic pagan for nearly 10 years, she applied her spiritual beliefs and understanding of alchemy to transform her own life. It was alchemy, in the end, that helped her pull herself out of the depths. She found that alchemy was the golden thread to any great transformation and the basis for all magic. Armed with the motto “magic is just science that doesn’t have an explanation yet,” she set to work on sharing her knowledge of alchemy and positive behavior change with her newfound audience. With this, the humble beginnings of Alchemy in Motion were established.
Currently, Hayley resides in Phoenix, Arizona with her high school sweetheart, dog Salem, cats Tobias & Ripley, and turtle Scouts-Many-Marshes. She is in active pursuit of her ISSA CPT certificate, Level 1 NCI Nutrition Coaching Certificate, and GGS Women’s Specialist Certificate. Her fitness journey is an everlasting work in progress, and she spends much of her free time “touching grass,” going to the gym, doing tarot readings and writing for her Substack page.
